Microsoft has posted its Xbox Live Store schedule for the next two weeks, which includes various new game releases and special deals. The Xbox Live Arcade will see How to Survive on October 23, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow — Mirror of Fate on October 25, and Magrunner: Dark Pulse on October 25.
Notable Games on Demand include Wipeout Create and Crash on October 25 and Rocksmith 2014 on November 1. Various DLC packs will become available before November 1, including content for Borderlands 2 and Saints Row IV . Season passes for Batman Arkham Origins and WWE 2K14 DLC will also become available when those games release on October 25 and 29, respectively.
Various Need for Speed games will be on sale at half off from October 22-28. These include Need for Speed: Most Wanted and various associated DLC packs, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit , Need for Speed: The RUN , and Need for Speed: ProStreet . October 29-November 4 will see various spooky games on sale. This includes Dead Island , Dead Island: Riptide , and associated DLC for half off, as well as Prey , The Darkness , and The Darkness 2 for 75% off.
Finally, Xbox is holding a Shocktober sale during which various games will appear at half off on the Xbox 360 Dashboard. At the time of writing, Shocktober deals include Limbo , The Walking Dead: 400 Days , Ghostbusters , Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime , Bloodforge , and Skulls of the Shogun .
