Vanquish Evil (Again) In Dragon Age II’s Legacy DLC

None

It took a while for EA to give us a reason to dust off our copies of Dragon Age II, but the brand spanking new Legacy DLC gives us plenty of motivation to return to the game. The add-on is available now and promises an adventure—thankfully outside the all-too-familiar confines of Kirkwall—that’s as memorable as the main story.

This time Hawke and friends must travel to an old prison built by the Grey Wardens that houses within it a secret about the Hawke family, as well as a powerful evil that’s been itching to get out for a very long time.

Legacy also brings with it a class-specific weapon, unique to the expansion, as well as a few new enemies. The fact that Legacy offers a new environment to explore in a game that tended to recycle its locations a little too often is almost reason enough to check it out.

Legacy is the first story-based DLC for Dragon Age II, and it looks intriguing. If you think this is something you might want to sink your teeth into, the DLC will run you 800 MSP on Xbox Live or $9.99 on PSN, though PS3 fans will have to wait a day for it to become available.
