We have waited a long time for Ubisoft’s Watch_Dogs , but the game is almost here. Ubisoft will be launching a beta for the much anticipated title, prior to the game’s official launch on May 27. This news comes from a screenshot of the Xbox Games Store that was posted to Reddit. It showed a Watch Dogs beta available for download at a 23 GB install size.
What Ubisoft could be beta testing for, however, is unknown. Watch_Dogs has a multiplayer mode, but it’s not as traditional as most games’ multiplayer modes. Instead, you can hop into other players’ games and try to hinder or help their progress. It certainly doesn’t seem to be anything a company would need to stress test.
Ubisoft has not yet commented on this image, so it could all be a scam. However, it would be great if it wasn’t. There are plenty of gamers frothing at the mouth to get their hands on Watch_Dogs , and being able to play it just a little bit earlier than the rest of the world would go a long way towards helping them to forget all of those delays.
