Moss: Book II is a VR adventure game developed by Polyarc released in 2022. The game is a sequel and continuation of Moss, released four years earlier. Critics and players universally praised the game, claiming it to be a perfect sequel in every way possible. Moss: Book II also won multiple industry awards, including Best VR Game in the 2022 Game Awards.
Moss: Book II Premise
Similar to its predecessor, players take on the role of The Reader as they help a mouse, Quill, traverse areas, and solve puzzles. The sequel includes new additions and interactions for The Reader, such as creating vine bridges or destroying objects. Quill is on a mission to save the land of Moss and defeat the evil Tylan.
Moss: Book II Main Characters
Players progress through the game with Quill. While there are enemies to fight and story arcs, the characters are limited, similar to the first game. However, this doesn’t ruin the experience at all, as Quill is fun to follow, help, and control.
