The competitive Street Fighter scene is serious business. Mad Catz has announced a new, limited edition, Tournament Edition 2 FightStick for Street Fighter V with Chun-Li on it. Naturally, it comes at a premium price of $229.99.
That may sound steep, but stick with me. The Street Fighter V Tournament Edition 2 FightStick works with the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 and is fully customizable. There’s a place for tools and people can pop it open whenever they’d like to adjust its inner workings, which were made by Sanwa, a company known for arcade machine parts. It’s also possible to change the design on the cover.
This Street Fighter V Tournament Edition 2 FightStick also has features that make it perfect for taking to tournaments. It comes with a shoulder strap for hauling it around. There’s also a lock button so, if you get carried away in a match, hitting the Home, Options, or Share button won’t bring everything to a grinding halt.
Pre-orders for this Street Fighter V Tournament Edition 2 FightStick are now open, and the accessory will ship later this year.
