The three men who were on trial in Florida for the murder of six people have been found guilty of first-degree murder.
Troy Victorino (29), Michael Salas (20), and Jerone Hunter (20) entered a house where Erin Belanger (22) and five friends were sleeping. Belanger asked Victorino to leave and would not give him his belongings, including an Xbox. Enraged, Victorino and his four accomplices killed all six people with baseball bats. The fourth accomplice, Robert Cannon (20), made a plea bargain with prosecutors to testify against Victorino, but he withdrew his plea. He will be tried at a separate trial.
The jury will meet again to determine whether the three men convicted will be sentenced to life in prison or given the death penalty by lethal injection.
