Xbox One Launch Titles Go Gold

Xbox One Launch Titles Go Gold

We have official entered into the home stretch, as the Xbox One launches in just under two weeks. As we inch closer to release day and anticipation builds, many of the most coveted next-gen games have officially gone “gold.”

The Xbox Wire posted an update with images showing large crates of Xbox One launch titles sitting in the warehouse, shrink wrapped and ready to go out to stores.

Hyping the momentous occasion, the staff writes: “It’s almost time. There are just 11 days to go before Xbox One’s worldwide launch on Nov. 22, and all the wheels at Xbox HQ are in motion…Today, we’re excited to announce that they’ve also officially gone gold, and are currently being published, packaged and shipped to retailers at this very moment.”

The pictures feature the new Xbox One box art for Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5 , Ryse: Son of Rome and Zoo Tycoon (all with signs stating “DO NOT SELL BEFORE NOVEMBER 22 ND , 2013”).

As the signs suggestion, you can pick up your Xbox One consoles on Friday the 22nd , with the PS4 launching this week.

In the meantime, if you’re an Xbox Live subscriber, be sure to pick up your free games via Microsoft’s Games with Gold program (with Sony running a similar promotion for PS Plus users).
