Ubisoft Reveals Far Cry 5 Composer

As part of the marketing machine, Ubisoft has held off on and now revealed the name of the man behind Far Cry 5 ’s soundtrack. Ubisoft has reached quite high, scoring a name involved with award-winning and even academy award-winning films. Ever heard of Dan Romer?

Because Dan Romer has been revealed as the composer for the upcoming, and somewhat controversial, Far Cry 5 . Romer is best known for composing the films Beasts of the Southern Wild and Beasts of No Nation , movies with long lists of accolades. Romer is also known for producing songs, including “Say Something” by A Great Big World and “Treat You Better” by Shawn Mendes.

Being set in the fictional town of Hope County, but in the non-fictional state of Montana, Romer has incorporated the sounds of that region into Far Cry 5 . Instruments such as banjos, fiddles, and dobros will be heavily featured in the music. Ubisoft also noted each region in the game has its own specific music. Far Cry 5 will also have hymns written by Romer, performed by the Bobby Shin Nashville Choir, and produced by Bobby Shin.
