Many Far Cry games allow people to play alone or with their friends. Far Cry Primal won’t allow for that luxury. The game is only going to offer a single-player campaign. Why? Well, think of it as a quality control issue.
Jason Paradise, Ubisoft’s Community Manager, made the announcement on Steam . There, he stated that the reinvention of the series’ formula required by a shift to the past required a little more attention. To ensure a solid, final product that did everything Ubisoft Montreal wanted to accomplish, they decided to only offer a single player campaign.
Far Cry Primal will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on March 1. Players will help Takkar go from a sole, unarmed survivor of a major tragedy, to leader of a hopefully powerful tribe. People who pre-order get three extra missions.
