Getting back to basics is great and all, but sometimes you want extras to enhance your experience. You want a reason to come back to a game you loved. Ubisoft has done that this week, with a major update to Far Cry Primal . The game’s third update has been released, and it’s huge. While there are the normal fixes you’d expect from such a thing, it also adds a Survivor mode for all versions of the game and 4K textures for those playing on PC.
First, let’s talk Ultra-HD Textures. The PC version has a special Far Cry Primal pack that’s free and 3.5GB. You get it from Steam or Uplay and it adds high quality textures to the game. Frankly, it makes it even more gorgeous than you’d already expect.
The Survivor Mode is available for every Far Cry Primal player now too. When in effect, it adds a stamina bar, alters the exploration, resource, companion and beast taming features, and makes nights more dangerous.
