Were you hoping to capture all sorts of photos of Detroit: Become Human’ s androids? Well, you will have to be satisfied with the PlayStation 4’s Share functions. It turns out Quantic Dream has canceled plans for the game’s photo mode.
Originally, a photo mode was planned for Detroit: Become Human . It would have arrived after launch and, like the God of War or Horizon: Zero Dawn photo modes, have allowed people to take pictures of the game without worrying about things like the UI getting in the way. Quantic Dream co-CEO David Cage confirmed on Twitter that it would not be happening, due to the PlayStation 4’s technical limitations.
Cage noted that pushing the PlayStation 4 to make Detroit: Become Human look as good as it did left little room for anything else. I suppose the trade-off for brief and nonexistent loading times and good looking characters is no photo mode! At least things still look rather picturesque without one.
