An Indigo Prophecy Remaster Hits PS4 Next Month

An Indigo Prophecy Remaster Hits PS4 Next Month

Quantic Dream has had a pretty powerful presence at E3 for two years in a row now. Last year it revealed a teaser trailer for Detroit: Become Human , a first person mystery / thriller starring a sentient, android detective. This year’s trailer blew us away with its severity and tone. A high-stakes, emotion-fueled hostage situation played out before our eyes, ending in the worst possible way. The trailer went on to show all the different outcomes that could have occurred based on different player choices.

This is what Quantic Dream is known for: powerful, choice-driven narrative. Its first big hit was Fahrenheit, called Indigo Prophecy in the US, which was released in 2005. In Indigo Prophecy you watch as the stories of two men – one a convicted murderer with no memory of his crime, and the other a detective investigating the murder – weave together in interesting ways based on the decisions you make. It was a cult hit, and Quantic Dream is bringing it back. On the Quantic Dream Twitter account it was announced that Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered will release exclusively on PS4 on July 18. The remaster will feature 1080p visuals and we assume trophies as well. You can experience this unforgettable drama for yourself for an easy $15.
