Ace Attorney 5 Officially Announced

Ace Attorney 5 Officially Announced

None

At an Ace Attorney 10th Anniversary event in Tokyo, Capcom officially announced that Ace Attorney 5 (not the final title) is being developed. No specifics about the game have been revealed, so we have no idea whether or not the game will follow Phoenix, Apollo Justice, Miles Edgeworth, or any of the other memorable characters in the Phoenix Wright universe. Personally, I hope Maya Fey is going to try her hand at practicing law.

Also, HD versions of the first three Phoenix Wright games will be released on the iPhone and iPad. The sprites and art assets will be cleaned up, though the gameplay will remain the same. The iOS versions will be converted from the DS ports of the game, extra chapters and all.

The event also brought a few new tidbits of info on Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright, like the fact that the cutscenes will be done by anime studio Bones. We should expect the game to be released sometime this year.
