Ace Attorney Movie Gets Japanese Release Date

Ace Attorney Movie Gets Japanese Release Date

None

Phoenix Wright is everywhere in video games these days. He’s one of the new fighters in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, he’s going to go toe-to-toe with Professor Layton on the 3DS, and he’s even hitting the big screen. According to Andriasang, the official Ace Attorney movie will be hitting Japanese theaters on February 11th, 2012. It will be sure to have fans jumping out of their seats, pointing at the movie screen, and shouting, “Objection!”

But what about us North American Phoenix Wright fans that may or may not have spent ages looking for a blue suit and red tie just so we could dress like him for Halloween? Well, unfortunately the only thing we can do is wait. Capcom hasn’t announced any plans to translate the movie into English or release it in North America. And before you start doing the happy dance, the same goes for you, Europe.

So all we can do is wait patiently and hope it comes to America, which sucks because this film is being directed by Takashi Miike, who is one of my favorite Japanese directors.
