Agent 47 won’t Perform Hitman Assassinations until March 2016

Hitman was supposed to be released on December 8. It was going to be a fresh start for Agent 47, with a reboot from IO Interactive that would be something of an episodic adventure. But now, we’ll have to wait to see the man back in action, as the game has been delayed until 2016.

The new release window for Hitman is March 2016. However, it will still be something of an episodic release, with additional parts and locations for the game released as free add-ons after the initial launch. However, IO Interactive did state that the delay means more will be available when the game is released, and the extra time should make updates arrive more quickly.

IO Interactive also used the delay announcement as an opportunity to talk a little about Hitman ‘s “Paris – The Showstopper” area. It will be six times larger than Hitman: Absolution ‘s Streets of Hope, with 300 targets, 100 possible accidents, 70 challenges, 25 areas around the palace, and 60 rooms in the palace.
