According to Watch_Dogs Senior Producer Dominic Guay, Watch_Dogs’ main character Aiden Pearce is not particularly a good person. Of course, he isn’t particularly evil, either. He’s just a person operating by his own code while other people around him get caught up in the chaos he causes. Who does this sound like? Apparently, like some well-known characters from high-rated TV series.
“The way we designed him is that he would not necessarily be a good guy or a bad guy,” Guay said. “So we’re inspired by characters like Dexter or the series like Breaking Bad , where the main character is not necessarily a good guy, but he’s a person with flaws, with qualities; someone we can relate to and that you will bond with even though he does sometimes things that are not necessarily good.”
Knowing this, we can only hope that Aiden Pearce will end up blowing up some meth dealers with mercury fulminate.
