Gauntlet is an established tradition among gamers. Whether its on a console or in an arcade, you round up some of your best friends and head into a dungeon to beat up enemies for as long as you can. Well, the console aspect of that equation has been missing for a while, but will return in August 2015 with Gauntlet: Slayer Edition .
Arrowhead will be bringing an updated version of the Gauntlet released on PCs to the PS4 next month. Hence the whole ” Slayer Edition ” in the title. The characters’ abilities are adjusted, loadouts altered so equipment is more important, the campaign will be improved, and there will even be a new game mode.
Though the Gauntlet: Slayer Edition will only be available digitally, it’s already available to pre-order. Pay $19.99 now and you’ll get some extra equipment for the Warrior character. More specifically, the Mordok’s Screaming Hammer and Reaper’s Visage Helm will be yours. Keep that in mind if you’re considering challenging Morak again.
