Assassin’s Creed III Delayed for PC

Assassin’s Creed III Delayed for PC

None

According to Ubisoft, the PC version of Assassin’s Creed III has been pushed back a couple of weeks. While the game was originally slated to come out on October 3, Ubisoft has now confirmed that the PC version will hit store shelves on November 20 in North America and November 23 in the UK. This is pretty much business as usual for Ubisoft, which has made a habit out of releasing the PC versions of its games much later than the console versions. Luckily, PC gamers won’t have to wait too long.

For now, it appears as if the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3 will be identical to its console predecessors. However, it will be the first instance of Ubisoft’s new engine, Ubisoft-AnvilNext, running on a PC platform. It’s likely that the company will have to work more than a few bugs out to get it to run smoothly on all different makes and models of gaming PCs. Then again, it can be argued that a month’s delay isn’t exactly long enough to work on bug fixing. The particular reasons behind the delay have not been revealed. We will bring you more information as it becomes available.
