Announced on Monday, April 8, DICE has introduced Loadout Presets to Battlelog in Battlefield 4 , which will allow for you to customize and save your loadouts to later use in-game.
Loadout Presets are a way of setting up your own gear and weapons for both soldiers and vehicles, so you can easily switch between them during a multiplayer match. With this implementation, you’ll no longer have to edit each loadout’s slot individually in the Customize screen when you want to change things around. Instead, you can just tweak a Preset outside of the game, and you’ll be able to use it in-game.
Your Presets can be accessed through Battlelog, as well as through its dedicated mobile and tablet apps. Simply head to the Loadout section, hit the Presets button and then choose what equipment you want for the slots in your presets, and give them titles if you so desire.
You’ll have two presets per kit and vehicle, four if you’re a Premium member. Your most recently selected Preset will stay active until you apply a different Preset or change your Loadout from Battlelog or in-game. This will allow you to quickly switch between your different setups without having to go through Battlefield 4’s Customize screens. By clicking “Manage” from the Presets dropdown you’ll be presented with an overview of all the Presets you’ve created, where you’ll be able to browse them, apply them or delete them.
Battlefield 4’s Naval Strike DLC will release on April 14 for non-Premium members, which released for Premium members on March 25 . Considering obtaining your own copy of Battlefield 4 ? Read our Joshua Bruce’s review of the title.
