Best Buy Bares Black Friday Bundles

Best Buy Bares Black Friday Bundles

Black Friday was the single craziest day of retail I ever worked. In recent years, I’ve been on the other end of that, standing in line in hopes of snagging a special edition Zelda 3DS (both my friend and I succeeded). Each year I tell myself that, this time, I won’t fall in for the hype, I won’t be taken in by limited-time offers from retailers making absurd demands on my time and patience.

Enter Best Buy to make me eat my words.

Their Black Friday circular is up on their website and, while there isn’t anything truly surprising, there are some recent and upcoming releases standing as $30 doorbusters and, in the realm of hardware, a $200 PlayStation 3 bundle at 250GB with both the Uncharted double pack and inFAMOUS Collection.

Moving on from the doorbusters, the name of the game seems to be bundles: the 3DS holiday bundle will be $150, including the system in flame red and a copy of Super Mario 3D Land; Microsoft’s 250GB Xbox 360 Holiday bundle has been knocked down to $200; and the Wi-Fi Vita, along with a 4GB memory stick and copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, will be joining both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at the $200 price-point.
