2K Games announced today that BioShock will be available for the PS3 in North America on October 21, 2008; the European release coming a few days later on the 24th. During our visit to the 2K Games booth at E3 2008, we got a glimpse at the excellent new challenge room mode of play. This will be one of many additions to the game that should enhance the experience. Here’s what Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K Games had to say: “We are proud to introduce 2K Games’ showcase title, BioShock, to an entirely new audience. With the addition of the new Add-On Game Content we are able to extend the award-winning adventure while maintaining the perfect harmony that millions of players around the world have fallen in love with.”
