Black Ops 2 Gets Three Separate Special Editions

Black Ops 2 Gets Three Separate Special Editions

Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will have three types of special editions available for purchase when it launches later this year.

The “Hardened” edition will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, comes in a steelbook case, and will feature the bonus Nuketown Zombies and Nuketown 2025 multiplayer maps, some exclusive weapon skins, avatar props (for 360) and background themes (for PS3), “challenge coins” for exclusive DLC, the game’s official soundtrack scored by Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor, and other such goodies. It’ll run you $79.99.

The “Care Package” edition, meanwhile, comes with all the things included in the “Hardened” edition, plus an actual, remote-controlled “MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone” that you can fly around yourself. It’ll come with a giant toolbox-like kit, and is priced at $179.99 for 360 and PS3.

The PC version is also getting some love, with “Digital Deluxe Edition” available that will include the bonus maps, soundtrack, weapons skins, backgrounds, and a free download of Call of Duty: World at War.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is out on November 13.
