Here’s something you don’t see every day. Blizzard is going to be one of the companies with a press conference at Gamescom 2015. Normally you expect something like that from publishers like Microsoft and EA, both of which are presenting, but this is quite unexpected. The company must have something important to say about its games at 12pm CET on August 5.
The image above is from the invitation and hints at some of the games Blizzard may talk about at Gamescom 2015. World of Warcraft and Heroes of the Storm definitely have their characters in there. It also looks like Hearthstone is going to be discussed. One of Overwatch ‘s heroines is in the upper right corner. And wasn’t that one dude on the StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void cover? Yes. Yes he was.
Which makes sense, because all of those games are already scheduled to appear at Blizzard’s Gamescom 2015 booth. Diablo seems to be absent, though. I guess we’ll have to wait for another Diablo III expansion.
