It can be difficult to get excited about Gamescom sometimes. After all, the event happens only two months after E3. You wonder if companies really have anything new to announce that quickly. In Bandai Namco’s case this year, they do, as Gamescom 2015 will be the first opportunity for people to play Dark Souls III .
Dark Souls III was just announced at E3 2015, so all people could do there was watch prearranged footage or someone from Bandai Namco play. It wasn’t even at Bandai Namco’s 2015 Global Gamers Day event. But anyone who comes to Gamescom 2015 between August 5-9, 2015, can walk up to the company’s booth and test a special Dark Souls III demo out.
Of course, lines will probably be pretty long for that particular game. In which case, someone can play the other title at the booth, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 . Again, it’s one of the first chances to test that game out, so attendees win either way.
