NAMCO Bandai Reveals Its Gamescom Lineup

None

Gamescom is a young show, only in its third year, but it’s already showing some impressive industry clout. To that end, NAMCO Bandai has issued a press release revealing the major titles that it will be bringing to Cologne, Germany this year for European gamers to get their hands on. The list includes some hugely anticipated releases and a playable debut.

  • Dark Souls – From Software’s follow-up to surprise hit Demon’s Souls has gamers with a fetish for the unforgiving chomping at the bit. Its open world promises an even greater challenge than its predecessor.

  • Ace Combat Assault Horizon – The newest title in the long running dogfighting series adds new twists to the formula, including chopper gunning runs and, in general, a closer, more acrobatic, and more personal sense of combat in its dogfights.

  • Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations – A new Naruto title, slated for release in 2012. The aim, this time, is to cover all generations of the Naruto cast in its fighter selection.

  • Ridge Racer Unbounded – Playable for the first time at Gamescom, Unbounded is adding a dose of demolition derby to the classic racer series.

NAMCO Bandai has promised that all of its titles will be hands-on at Gamescom, which runs from August 18-21. Their booth, for those attending, will be located in Hall 7, Stand B40.
