Kathy Rain is a point-and-click adventure game that was released on May 5, 2016, for PC. It was later released on November 23, 2016, for Android and iOS app stores and October 26, 2021, for the Nintendo Switch. The game was developed by Clifftop Games, an impressive one-man studio by Joel Staaf Hästö. The game was published by Raw Fury, a Swedish publisher that specializes in indie games. Kathy Rain has received favorable reviews from critics and players alike.

Kathy Rain Premise
This pixel art game is set in 1995, taking place in the fictional town of Conwell Springs. Kathy’s curiosity about what happened to her grandfather leads to a full-blown investigation uncovering kidnappings, cultists, and the supernatural. Art is going missing, strange lights are seen floating in the woods, and people are going comatose. Not to mention the strange bald man dressed in red that continues to appear out of nowhere.

Kathy Rain Main Character
The main character of Kathy Rain is, wait for it, Kathy Rain. Did you guess it correctly? Kathy is a second-year college student studying journalism. That makes her the perfect character to take on the task, not the police or locals. To make things more interesting, her father was part of a local biker gang, known as the Black Hats. Her mother was not so innocent herself, taking part in criminal activity with him. Kathy, haunted by both the choices she made years ago and the recent death of her grandfather, returns to her hometown.
She is not only headstrong and intuitive but also rides a motorcycle. Her sweet bike is called the Katmobile and can be visually customized in the Director’s Cut. With her punk personality and strong investigative skills, Kathy will uncover the deepest secrets of this small town. But everyone has a secret they don’t want to think about, including Kathy.

Kathy Rain Cheat Codes
Unfortunately for players, Kathy Rain does not have a cheat code system for any platform. Many modern-day games have abandoned the concept of cheat codes altogether. Cheat codes were originally a tool for developers during playtesting that just are not needed anymore. There are also no cheat trainers available.
Kathy Rain has the player solving puzzles and utilizing clues to solve a mystery. Having any cheat code system for the game would invalidate many of the game’s challenges.
