eFootball 2022 is an association football simulator (that’s soccer for the Americans). The game was both developed and published by Konami. eFootball is updated each year to be current with the real-world football leagues. The game was titled eFootball 2022 during its first year and was released on 30 September 2021. As of September 7, 2023, the game is now titled eFootball 2024.
After its initial release, eFootball 2022 received a number of poor reviews from critics. The game’s low-quality graphics and laggy gameplay was a major flaw of the game. Since then, eFootball has received major updates aimed to fix many of these issues. eFootball is a franchise that is still going strong and improving with each update.
eFootball Premise
In eFootball 2022, players take control of famous football leagues and act as their managers. Players can recruit real-life world-famous football players. It’ll be up to you to pick plays, sign players, and make sure that your team comes out on top this season.
A lot of eFootball’s gameplay is very similar to another football simulator, FIFA. In fact, FIFA is a direct competitor to eFootball. While FIFA is the number one football simulator in gaming, eFootball holds the number two spot and has been growing in popularity over the years.
eFootball Series
Each year a new version of eFootball is released with the current top teams and players. Before the release of eFootball 2022, the franchise was known as Pro Evolution Soccer, which was also developed and published by Konami.

eFootball Cheat Codes
Unfortunately for players, eFootball does not have any in-game cheats. eFootball is a multiplayer game where players can have their hand-selected teams play against each other in online matches. Cheat codes that improved player performance would give one side an unfair advantage.
There are cheat trainers that PC players could download, but that comes with its own risk. Using those cheats in an online match could result in a permanent ban from the game. At the moment, players will have to use their own football knowledge to lead their team to victory.
