FIFA Soccer 95 Cheats & Cheat Codes for Sega Genesis

FIFA Soccer 95 is a 1995 football simulation game developed and published by Electronic Arts. Released exclusively for the Sega Genesis, the game is one of the earliest entries into the long-running FIFA series.

After the original FIFA International Soccer, responses to the changes made in the newer release were largely positive. The game iterated on a few key points of weakness in the first game, notably passing and goalkeeping mechanics, to produce a football game that was the best of its time.

Simply, FIFA Soccer 95 is a football simulation. The gameplay is played from an isometric camera view, with you controlling one of two teams on the pitch. At the push of a button, you can switch between the eleven players on your team. Even better, the game allows for up to four players in a match, working cooperatively to win the game.

The game has several different game modes, including Friendly, Leagues, Tournaments, and Playoffs. Each allows you to jump in as one of your favorite teams, playing out a series of different football tournament formats. It features a bunch of different club teams from around the world, although fake player names are used due to licensing issues.

The big new feature in this release was the addition of penalty shootouts, bringing next-level drama to FIFA Soccer 95. Despite being released back in 1994, the gameplay still holds up, as it focuses on arcade fun more than hardcore realism.

FIFA Soccer 95 Main Characters

The nature of football as a team sport means that FIFA Soccer 95, as well as the wider FIFA franchise as a whole, doesn’t exactly have main characters. There are some players who rise above the rest and establish themselves as legends, but even still, they’re never the main characters of FIFA games.

In lieu of a main character, we can show you every single team that you can play as in FIFA Soccer 95, sorted by nation.

FIFA Soccer 95 Titles in the Series

The FIFA series has always been at the pinnacle of the football genre, with decades of experience at Electronic Arts serving to create the ultimate simulation of the beautiful game. Few have even tried to challenge its dominance over the genre. Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer series had its heyday in the mid-2000s but has slowly faded out of relevancy with each release. Meanwhile, the Football Manager series remains immensely popular but is so different from FIFA that it’s hard to compare.

However, Electronic Arts has now officially lost the license to use the FIFA name. Because of this, FIFA 23 was the last game in the series, and was subsequently replaced by the EA Sports FC series in 2023. It has been a legendary run so far, and it’s set to continue under a new name.

No. The game was released only on the Sega Genesis, which has no achievements system, and the game itself doesn’t have any built-in.

What Does The Invisible Wall Cheat Do In FIFA Soccer 95?

If you use the Invisible Wall cheat in FIFA Soccer 95, this will prevent the ball from ever going out of play. Throw-ins, corners, and goal kicks are all no longer part of the game, as the ball will no longer leave the pitch.

What Does The Crazy Ball Cheat Do In FIFA Soccer 95?

The Crazy Ball cheat is as straightforward as it suggests. Sometimes when the ball is hit, it will go much further than intended, resulting in some crazy long balls. When combined with cheats like the Invisible Wall cheat, this can mean some bizarre pinball-esque football is played.
