Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a first-person action game developed by Fatshark. The game was released in 2022 and received mixed reviews from fans and critics. Criticism came from the unfinished state of the game and the lack of communication from the development team. Since then, some players have claimed that the game is now in an acceptable state, albeit rough around the edges.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Premise
As the name suggests, Darktide takes place in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The story was written by author Dan Abnett, who has previous experience writing for the series. The player character starts onboard a prison transport carrier before being attacked by followers of Nurgle. After successfully escaping with Zola, players are taken aboard the Mourningstar ship. What comes next is an epic quest to investigate plagues, assassinate leaders, and acquire supplies to stop the chaos cult.
The gameplay has been altered slightly from past releases, with multiple missions taking place in the same area. Players who complete the missions and the secondary quests will receive better rewards. There was also an alteration to the difficulty for enemies and damage, along with rewards earned in-game and currency to buy items and weapons.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Cheat Codes
Unfortunately for players, Darktide does not feature any cheat codes. Any alterations to the game would be through mods, glitches, or exploits. As game development becomes more advanced and with modding communities bigger than ever, there is less reason to add cheat codes to video games today. Some developers also believe that it will take away from the experience and immersion of the game.
