Ultimate Custom Night Cheats & Cheat Codes for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows, and More

The Five Nights At Freddy’s franchise is an immensely prominent name in the horror genre. After the runaway success of the first game, developer Scott Cawthon has been pumping out sequels. The central premise of a security guard trapped in a pizza shop, terrorized by the store’s animatronic mascots, has proven to have a lot of longevity. While the original Five Nights At Freddy’s and most of its sequels were created by Cawthon alone, the franchise has since branched out in multiple directions. Official novels have been published in the world of FNAF, and a film adaptation is scheduled to release later this month. But of the many, many games in the franchise, Ultimate Custom Night stands out, as it allows players to tailor their very own Five Nights At Freddy’s experience.

Ultimate Custom Night Premise

Ultimate Custom Night was developed and published by Scott Cawthon in 2018. It’s currently available for free. The basic premise is identical to most main-series Five Nights At Freddy’s games. While trapped inside a security office, you must correctly manage power to monitor the pizza shop’s roaming animatronics, closing doors and interacting with other defensive resources as necessary to keep them from bursting into your office and attacking you.

The twist in Ultimate Custom Night is implied by its title. You can fully customize your survival horror experience, populating the pizza shop with your choice of fifty characters from the first six Five Nights at Freddy’s games. You can even tweak their difficulty settings, rating them from a minimum of zero to a maximum of twenty. While playing, you can also earn special powerups, as well as plushies that can deactivate certain animatronics. You can even customize the appearance of the office you huddle in. There are sixteen pre-built challenges for you to face, and you can unlock some cutscenes to further explore the mystery surrounding this cursed pizza franchise.

Aside from the five antagonists you can select for each challenge, there are nine special characters which can appear without any input from you. The most prominent of these is Dee Dee, originally from FNaF World, who has a chance to randomly spawn and summon another character. This can be either a character you didn’t choose from the roster, or another special character who you can’t select. With these special antagonists included, here’s every single antagonist available in Ultimate Custom Night.

Ultimate Custom Night Cheat Codes and Achievements

There are, perhaps unsurprisingly, no official cheat codes for Ultimate Custom Night. Given how intricately customizable the game already is, there’s not much left for cheat codes to actually do. That said, the game is full of easter eggs. For instance, the sinister Fredbear can appear under select circumstances. If you choose Golden Freddy as your only antagonist and set his difficulty to 1, then use the Death Coin on him, Fredbear will immediately kill you. If you’re less interested in easter eggs than you are in conquering Ultimate Custom Night, here’s every achievement you can unlock in the game.

  • Consequences: Unlock the secret Old Man Consequences ending.
  • Pond: View all episodes of Bear of Vengeance.
  • Mine: View all episodes of Toy Chica: The High School Years.
  • Never: Listen to all the death dialogues.

Who is the most annoying character in Ultimate Custom Night?

The question of which character is most annoying is generally a subjective one, but many fans have a bone to pick with Mr. Hippo. This character first appeared as a purchasable animatronic in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator. In Ultimate Custom Night, he crawls through the ducts in order to attack the player. Should you fail to repel the hippo, he will not only jumpscare and kill you, but deliver a lengthy, meandering monologue over your corpse. These monologues are ultimately disconnected from the intricate lore of the franchise, and serve little purpose but to waste your time. Even worse, they can’t be skipped. If you close the game while listening to one, Mr. Hippo will immediately kill you at the start of the next night and continue his tale.

Is there any lore in Ultimate Custom Night?

Ultimate Custom Night is generally a much less story-focused installment than the rest of the Five Nights At Freddy’s series. Since the focus is largely on creating a custom Five Nights At Freddy’s horror experience for yourself, there’s understandably not a lot of lore. There are some potentially impactful tidbits though. Arguably the most significant is the Old Man Consequences ending. If you start a night with Old Man Consequences as your only opponent and set his difficulty to 1, you can then trigger an 8-bit minigame where the old man himself will eventually talk to you, telling you to leave the “demon” to his own demons and rest your soul. Quitting the minigame or drowning your player character will cause the game to crash.

Speculation abounds concerning this mysterious ending. The prevailing theory is that the demon mentioned by Old Man Consequences is none other than William Afton, recurring antagonist and source of much of the strife in the game. This evil figure is a serial killer who murdered several children, and their ghosts now haunt the animatronics that haunt you through most of the series. It’s theorized that Ultimate Custom Night is actually a sort of purgatory for Afton, leaving him trapped forever at the mercy of all of his animatronic foes. This is unconfirmed, though.
