All may not be what it seems in this reality competition. Can Nick uncover the truth about Bloodshore Island before his time runs out? Players will have to choose Nick’s actions in order to keep him alive to fulfill his task, all while trying to keep the audience at home happy with him and his actions.
This choose-your-own-adventure game features a total of 8 hours of well-acted Full-Motion Video footage, a video game narration technique that relies upon pre-recorded videos to display action in the game. The player’s decisions matter and will lead to visual feedback on what effect they have. Players may be responsible for who lives or dies. And the relationships are tracked, influencing the story progression, so be careful who you trust. While there is one main story, it has several different possible outcomes. There are 250+ scenes to unlock and stats to show how Nick is doing with the audience, his allies, and his romance options.
Bloodshore does feature some gnarly and intense violence. It has graphic depictions of blood and gore.
