Breath of Fire 6 Is an MMO

Breath of Fire 6 Is an MMO

Breath of Fire 6 was announced about two years ago, and now it’s looking like it will finally come to fruition. But don’t get too excited, especially if you are a fan of the original Capcom/Squaresoft RPG, because BOF 6 is nothing like the games you remember. Instead, it’s an MMO coming out for Android and iOS.

The game will be mission based, as most mobile MMOs are. Your goal will be to recruit other party members in order to take on a series of dungeons in order to protect your home base, Draneel village. Each character will have a class, and as they level up they can upgrade their class, similar to fire-emblem. Characters can also go into D-Trance mode and turn into a dragon, making the whole “last of the dragon blooded” concept of Breath of Fire way more common.

Fan favorite characters like Ryu and Nina will return, but they will all be NPCs now. Ryu has even gone missing after an assault from an evil empire. It’s up to you, and basically everyone else who is playing the game, to find him.

We will bring you more information on Breath of Fire 6 as it becomes available, but suffice it to say this isn’t the RPG that Breath of Fire fans were looking for.
