Buy a $26,000 Xbox One for Charity

Well, if you had some extra cash (and wanted to get a throwback-style Xbox One), then mosey on over to GamesAid’s eBay store, where you’ll find a special edition console on sale for the modest price of about $26,000 (all for a good cause of course).

GamesAid is a charity based in the United Kingdom that raises money for disabled children. In an attempt to help this noble cause, Microsoft provided a signature white Xbox One, which is usually reserved only for those who actually helped develop the console.

According to GamesAid, the system was “… kindly donated by Microsoft themselves and this superlative package includes an Xbox One console in special edition white, adorned with an inscribed ‘I Made This’ to the right of the disc tray, a white special edition controller, Kinect sensor, Chat Headset, and an exclusive Day One Achievement and special Launch Team Achievement.”

There are currently 66 bids (as of this writing) on the UK charities eBay store, so it looks as if the auction will help them hit their goal. Also, the winner can expect their console to ship on launch day .
