Call of Duty: WWII Details Leak

Call of Duty: WWII Details Leak

The official Call of Duty: WWII reveal is set for a few days from now on April 26, but in the meantime, we have all the details anyway. That’s right, we have yet another leak on our hands, this time from what appear to be official marketing materials. Oh, video games, never change. In this leak, we (allegedly, probably, definitely, and very likely) know the release date, generic details about the campaign’s story and one particularly nice tidbit about a new feature.

The stuff about the Call of Duty: WWII campaign is pretty much fluff. The story is set to take place during World War II, starting with D-Day, and so on and so forth. The theme seems to be an “unbreakable brotherhood of common men,.” So yeah, it’s about soldiers.

Here’s the cool part: Call of Duty: WWII apparently has co-op. It’s a little unclear in what way this manifests in the game. The way the marketing is worded, it seems like the co-op mode is separate from the campaign. It does say it has a “new and original story,” implying there’s more to this than it being a bonus mode that’s more mechanics than plot.

Assuming this Call of Duty: WWII leak is real, expect the release date to be formally announced as November 3 when Activision’s event takes place on Wednesday. Stay tuned!
