He has recently posted screenshots of his transaction history, which show that he has made approximately $10,000 in three months. If this pace continues, he could be making $40,000 a year! That’s a real working man’s salary. In fact, he’s making enough money off Diablo III that he has to report it on his taxes. Wishbone’s time in game is mostly spent in the auction house. In fact, he spends a full working day simply buying and selling items. He actually rarely sells the items he receives in-game. Instead, he simply buys other people’s items at low prices and then marks them up to higher prices. It’s pretty much economics 101 played out in an unregulated video game auction house.
