Castlevania 25th Anniversary Project Coming

Castlevania 25th Anniversary Project Coming

None

Many of our favorite classic gaming franchises are celebrating significant anniversaries these days. We already saw Mario’s 25th and Sonic’s 20th, and Castlevania is now celebrating its 25th anniversary as well. For a long time, fans have been asking Konami about what they planned to do for the big 25th anniversary celebration, but until now it appeared as if there wasn’t going to be a celebration at all.

However, a Konami representative recently said, “We are going to do something, we are just going through final approvals on what exactly that is going to be.” So there will be some sort of celebration, and that is good news for Castlevania fans. But exactly what will that be?

Recently, Konami revealed some concept art for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, which originally put Simon Belmont in the lead role. For a while, rumors about remakes of the Castlevania NES classics were floating around the internet. Perhaps now Konami will actually deliver on those rumors.

We will let you know more about Castlevania’s 25th anniversary project as further information becomes available.
