When he said, “I’ll be back,” he meant it. The Terminator 2 is coming back to theaters. In 2016, the movie will celebrate its 25th anniversary, and a 3D version of the film will show up in theaters to celebrate.
James Cameron, DMG, and StudioCanal are teaming up for the Terminator 2 3D conversion. It will use StereoD technology to make the transition happen and will mark the first 3D release of this movie.
The exact release date of Terminator 2 in 3D has yet to be announced. It will mark the second Cameron classic to get this treatment, as a 3D movie rerelease of Titanic surfaced in 2012.
