Experienced Pokemon trainers need to be aware that Torchic’s highest statistics are its speed attack, and their attack. When they are level 50 or higher, this may not always apply due to the large difference that the ranges enable. Generally speaking, this Pokemon works well as an early damage-dealer in the beginning of the game–Torchics are not often built for serving as a tank, but they can bring forth a lot of harm to their enemies.

Where to Find Torchic

Torchic is one of the three starter Pokemon of Hoenn in the Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, Pokemon Omega Ruby, Pokemon Emerald, Pokemon Sapphire,

In either Pokemon Ruby or Pokemon Sapphire, Torchic can be found in Route 101. This is the same place where Torchics are located in Pokemon Emerald, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. These fiery companions can be traded or migrated from other games in FireRed, LeafGreen, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Black, White, X, Y, Sun, Moon and Sword and Shield.

In Pokemon Brillian Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, Torchics are known to frequent the Volcanic Cave, Sandsear Cave or Typhlo Cavern. Lastly, in Pokeom HeartGold or SoulSilver players have reported encountering Torchic in Silph Co.

That said, players must be aware that this Pokemon is unfortunately not available in a handful of titles in this franchise. Torchics can not be found in Let’s Go Pikachu, Let’s Go Eevee, Legends: Arceus, Scarlet and Violet.

How to Evolve Torchic

Mega Blaziken

Starting at level 16, Torchic can evolve into Combusken. Once they have reached level 36, they can evolve into the Fighting-type Blaziken. In the Pokemon Go games, Torchic can evolve once the player has fed them 25 candies.

It is worth noting that going through an evolution will change the moveset that is available to Torchic, not just because of the additional types of abilities the Pokemon can have. Some players alleging to be veterans recommend leveling up Torchic, but not evolving it on public forums. Their reasoning behind this is that Torchic can learn Flamethrower at level 43, unlike Combusken and Blaziken who do not have access to this ability.

That’s all the content we have on Torchic for now, we will keep our readers updated regarding any additional information.
