Hardball III Premise
Hardball III is a simple sports game of America’s favorite pastime, baseball. Players can form their teams out of a variety of real-life players with realistic stats. The gameplay is controlled with either a joystick or arrow keys and a button. It is also the first of the series to have sports commenter Al Michaels provide commentary while you play.
Players can either play single exhibition matches, against AI or another player with a controller and split-screen, or play a season against AI teams. When playing a season, players have the option of playing a full, half, or short season. And for real baseball fans, the game is full of traditional baseball features. For example, pitchers can throw either a curveball, fastball, screwball, or off-speed pitch.
If players are feeling creative, they can change team names, player names, player stats, and even alter team logos and jersey designs.
