Although film buffs were up late last night watching the Oscars, another film awards ceremony took place over the weekend: International Film Music Critics’ Association Awards. And guess what? The association has an award for Best Original Score for a Video Game or Interactive Media! How progressive! The nominees for this award included Dark Void, James Bond 007: Blood Stone, Lego Universe, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and the video game adaptation of Legend of the Guardians.  Although the nominees looked like a bit of a mixed bag (No nominations for Red Dead Redemption, Halo: Reach, or Heavy Rain? Come on!), the game that came out on top was ultimately Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Congratulations to them and all who were nominated! |
