May the fourth be with you all! We have some exciting news today in celebration of Star Wars day, and it’s all about TT Games’ upcoming Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens . For starters, you won’t have to worry about corny, second-rate voice actors struggling to emulate the characters that we saw on the big screen. Daisy Ridley (Rey), Harrison Ford (Han), Carrie Fisher (Leia), John Boyega (Finn), and Oscar Isaaac (Poe) have all recorded dialogue for their Lego counterparts. Kylo Ren and C-3PO are also being voiced by Adam Driver and Anthony Daniels, respectively. This is very likely going to be the hottest Lego game ever developed by TT Games so it’s a relief to know that the characters are all going to sound authentic.
What’s even more exciting is the fact that there will be 6 new, canonical missions in the game that bridge the events of Episode 6 to Episode 7 . These have been adapted from various books and graphic novels and have been summarized nice and neat-like:
Lor San Tekka’s Return – Uncovers secrets behind Lor San Tekka’s journey to the Jakku Village.
Rathtar Hunting – Follows Han Solo and Chewbacca’s voyage to capture the ravenous Rathtars.
Poe to the Rescue – Details Poe Dameron’s daring rescue mission to save Admiral Ackbar.
Crimson Corsair – Explores how the notorious Outer Rim pirate, the Crimson Corsair, foiled the plans of the First Order.
Trouble Over Taul – Follows the events leading up C-3PO’s acquisition of his new red arm.
Ottegan Assault – Reveals a puzzle piece to how the Resistance and the First Order find Lor San Tekka on Jakku.
Go ahead and have a sneak peak at the “New Adventures Trailer” and get hyped. Or remain completely emotionless and balanced if you’re a Jedi.
