Thanks to the effusive charm of actor Oscar Isaac, Resistance pilot Poe Dameron became a breakout supporting character in Star Wars: The Force Awakens . Heck, I’ve read that the character wasn’t even supposed to survive the movie originally, but Oscar was so great that he became a series regular instead. How did Poe survive being shot down over Jakku, though? We’re about to find out in the first DLC pack for Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens .
Lego Poe, with his adorable stubbly yellow face, is pretty great. Plus, like all the Lego Force Awakens characters, he’s voiced by his original actor! Oscar Isaac recorded original dialogue for the level pack. So if you’re interested in learning how Poe survived Jakku and got back to the Resistance Base while Ray and Finn were having their adventures in the movie, you can download the DLC starting today. It’s called Poe’s Quest for Survival and is part of the $10 level pack, or you can buy it standalone for $3.
Two more DLC level packs are planned after this one. Later on, you’ll be able to play the bad guys as you storm Maz Kanata’s cantina as Kylo Ren and his Stormtroopers in the First Order Siege of Takodana Level Pack, or discover what it’s like to be a less-charming Resistance pilot than Poe in the Escape from Starkiller Base Level Pack.
