The official Darksiders Twitter recently tweeted a mysterious image showing death walking toward some sort of haunted manor/fortress/tower. The image came with the statement, “A new adventure awaits Death!” Fans and analysts alike have decided that this image is teasing a brand new Darksiders II DLC pack.
Two DLC packs have been announced so far, entitled The Abyssal Forge and The Demon Lord Belial. Few details have been revealed about either, so we really wouldn’t know what the locales in both DLCs would look like. We can assume that The Abyssal Forge will come out before The Demon Lord Belial because it is frequently listed first when mentioning the two, but even that is just an assumption. The Darksiders team may just be listing them in alphabetical order, after all.
So what do you think? Is this image from The Abyssal Forge or is it from The Demon Lord Belial? Or, perhaps, it’s from an entirely new DLC altogether. Personally, I think it’s teasing The Abyssal Forge. Those orange lights at the bottom of the structure certainly strike me as particularly “forge-like.”
