Players can shoot the basketball using either the shot stick (the trigger) or the shoot button (square on PlayStation and X on Xbox). New signature player moves and advanced ball-handling movements were added to 2K14, welcomed by fans. 2K14 is also the first time the “potential” stats of players were limited, meaning you could only increase certain players’ skills by a limited amount. A new “Training Camp Mode” was included to help new players hone their skills. The game also featured 50 hours of brand-new commentary from Kevin Harlan, Clark Kellogg, and Steve Kerr.
NBA 2K Main Characters
The game features the “My Career” mode which allows players to create their own player and advance him through an NBA career. The “LeBron: Path to Greatness” game mode allows the player to play as LeBron James. For exhibition games and online play, the 30 NBA team rosters were available for play, along with EuroLeague teams and 34 classic teams from the NBA’s storied history.
