According to Variety, EA’s Dead Space IP is getting made into a movie, with “Eagle Eye” helmer D.J. Caruso set to direct it. The variety report goes on to confirm that “EA will produce the film with Temple Hill partners’ Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey.” The same article also stated that “second and third installments” of the game are on their way. While we’re not surprised that a film of the cinematic-inspired IP is underway, the revelation of a trilogy of games already in development is a little unexpected.
