Destiny: Rise of Iron Now Live and Stable

Destiny: Rise of Iron Now Live and Stable

You guys are dedicated fans. Thousands of you were up at the crack of dawn to load up Destiny’s latest expansion, Rise of Iron , and begin grinding for some new loot and exploring the Plaguelands. Unfortunately, Bungie seemed to be experiencing widespread server issues across all platforms this morning. Users were unable to log in until late in the morning, and even then, most were politely herded into a queue to alleviate additional stress on the servers. According to Bungie, “Issues that were preventing players from signing into Destiny in Tapir errors have been resolved on all platforms.”

So now that everything is up and running smoothly, what can you expect? There’s the new campaign, of course, which should last your about an hour or two, depending on your speed of play. You’ll find plenty of new content in the Crucible, tons of new gear with a jacked up light limit, a new social hub, and a new raid that goes live this Friday. The new raid, Wrath of the Machine , is scheduled to go live at 1 PM EST Friday afternoon. It’s a six-person raid with a recommended light level of 360, so start gearing up now.
