Here’s something surprising. Disney Infinity is dead. The series is over. 2.0 and 3.0 made it to PCs, but didn’t always have the same features as the console versions. And yet now, when it’s all completely done, is when Disney’s decided to make ultimate editions of all three games available. Not only is Disney Infinity 1.0 on computers for the first time, but the best forms of all three can be bundled together.
These are the Gold Editions of Disney Infinity . You can get them all together in the Disney Infinity Gold Collection for $60, or buy each installment separately for $30. As Gold Editions, all characters and playsets will be unlocked. People who pick up 2.0 will also have all 1.0 characters available, while 3.0 will have all of 1.0 and 2.0.
This is a collection for a very specific sort of person. The online content for PC versions of Disney Infinity has all been pulled. You can’t do anything with other people in these games. You can’t share playsets. This is a completely solo campaign now, where all you can rely on are the things within the game. If you’re okay with that, maybe keep an eye on the Disney Infinity Gold Collection during a Steam sale.
