Dragon Age: Origins on PS3 Gets Revised Release

Dragon Age: Origins on PS3 Gets Revised Release

None

Sony fans have likely felt that they’ve been getting short shrift from third-party developers.

Thankfully, BioWare announced that they have been able to get their act together and get the PS3 version of Dragon Age: Origins polished quickly enough to allow it to launch simultaneously with the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.

According to Dr. Ray Muzyka, Co-Founder of BioWare, “We’re excited to confirm that all three versions of Dragon Age: Origins will be available to fans on November 3 in North America.”

He continued, “The Dragon Age: Origins development team was able to polish the PlayStation 3 version to our high standard of quality and we are ready to deliver the richest and deepest role-playing fantasy experience across all three platforms.”

Hopefully, that means the game truly will shine on PS3, we’ve seen problems bringing it to the Sony platform before – we’re looking at you Bethesda.

Still no word on when the PS3 version will hit European store shelves. The original date will also be revised up, but it will in fact launch after the Xbox 360 and PC versions do.
