Dragon Quest X Coming To 3DS

Dragon Quest X Coming To 3DS

Dragon Quest X , the online MMO version of Dragon Quest , will be coming to the 3DS soon after already making a decent showing on the Wii, Wii U, and PC. However, it’s going to be one of the first games to try a completely new way of bringing you game date. The game will be streamed from the internet to your platform, with very little content stored locally. This of course means that you will have to be connected to the internet in order to play, but considering that the game is an MMO in the first place, this probably isn’t an issue.

Another version of the game already uses this streaming service, the Android version. What’s really interesting about games designed this way, is that the very same version that is played on the Wii U can be streamed to a much less powerful device. This means that the Android, Wii, Wii U, and PC versions will all be able to play against each other. Not only that, but every version will be playing the exact same game.

Dragon Quest X will require a subscription versions to play. In Japan, purchasing the game will cost about thirty seven dollars and will include a couple in game items and sixty days of play time. After that, you will have to purchase individual 3, 10, or 30 day passes to continue playing the game. Unfortunately, no details on an American release have been revealed so far.
