Dragon’s Dogma Gets New Expansion In 2013

Dragon’s Dogma Gets New Expansion In 2013

If you managed to play through Dragon’s Dogma from start to finish, you might find yourself wishing for some more replay value. Well, Capcom has you covered with a brand new “major expansion” to Dragon’s Dogma releasing in 2013.

The expansion is called Dark Arisen. Unfortunately, that’s all we know about it at this time. Likely, this expansion will include more monsters, more skills, more plot, more dungeons, and possibly even more classes and characters. Heck, the title itself alludes to your character going down a darker path.

In addition, some new free modes will be patched into the game later this year. Easy Mode has already been patched in for people who don’t particularly want to throw their controllers at their TVs in a fit of rage.

The next upcoming mode is Hard Mode which, you guessed it, makes the game even harder than it already is. Dragon’s Dogma is already considered one of the hardest games on the market, so you’d have to be a real masochist to play the game on hard mode. Or perhaps you are just addicted to the extra loot the new mode promises.

The final new mode is Speedrun, which puts your entire game on a clock. You will be tasked with finishing the entire thing before your time expires. Once again, only for the masochistic.
